Mayank is the Vice President of Venture Investments for OSF Ventures, the corporate investment arm of OSF HealthCare.
In this role, Mayank manages the venture program and leads efforts to invest in devices, diagnostics, emerging digital solutions and technology-enabled services that can improve patient outcomes or reduce costs to the Ministry.
Mayank joined OSF Ventures in 2016 as one of the early members of the venture team. He brings experience in the health care industry across multiple disciplines including the practice of medicine, working with early stage companies and supporting venture investments and innovation strategies. Mayank has been named one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s Rising Stars in Healthcare.
He currently serves as a board member on GYANT and a board observer on InsightRx, CancerIQ, Digital Diagnostics, Exo Imaging, PhotoniCare, VIDA and Tailormed. Mayank also served as a board observer on Paradigm Diagnostics, Current Health, SilverCloud and CareSignal prior to their acquisitions.
Before joining the OSF Ventures team, Mayank worked with the usability services team at OSF HealthCare and helped medical device startups pilot their technologies and perform human factors studies for submission to the US Food and Drug Administration. He also assisted the OSF medical simulation for-profit spinoff, SIMNEXT LLC, with early business support and go-to-market strategy.
Prior to joining OSF HealthCare, Mayank worked at Zimmer Inc. in its post-market risk surveillance division as part of the Zimmer Leadership Program. He received his medical school degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in India and his MBA from The Ohio State University (Fisher College). Mayank practiced internal medicine for four years in New Delhi, India.
Liridon is a Director of Venture Investments for OSF Ventures, where he brings a long track record of healthcare expertise traversing many sectors within healthcare across both startup and corporate settings.
Before joining the OSF Ventures team, Liridon was a healthcare strategy consultant, helping the C-Suite of Fortune 500 companies transform their companies in the evolving healthcare landscape and re-imagine the possibilities for a new, improved healthcare industry. His passion for healthcare innovation began with his time at Anthem where he worked on the IBM Watson partnership and continued at Rock Health in San Francisco where he worked with thought leaders in the space. During his time at Rock Health, he partnered with founders of various digital health companies to advise them on strategic issues and helped them navigate the complex healthcare ecosystem across providers, payers, pharmacy benefit managers, and medical devices.
He received a dual B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University and also completed the Financial Economics certificate through the Kellogg School of Management as an undergraduate. He earned his MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Ben is a Director of Venture Investments for OSF Ventures, where he focuses on investments in the medical device and digital health space. Prior to joining OSF, he was the Director of Venture Capital at Cardinal Health, a Fortune 15 company that manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical, medical and lab products for the health care industry.
Ben began his career at Cerner Corporation as an analyst for the company’s corporate venture capital arm. He worked his way up to becoming a Senior Associate of the venture capital team over a six-year period where he advised and supported direct and indirect investments, partnerships, divestitures, acquisitions and corporate strategy.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Stan is a Managing Director for OSF Ventures, where he focuses on investments in the medical device and digital health space.
Stan is a current or former Board Member or Observer for BrightWater Medical, Endotronix, Euphrates Vascular, Array, Patient Wisdom, Renovia, Socially Determined, 410 Medical, DotCom Therapy and Respiratory Motion.
Stan is a co-founder and Board Member of Central Illinois Angels, a nonprofit entity formed to provide early-stage investment opportunities for accredited angel investors. He also founded and was the Managing Member of LMA Consulting, LLC which provided financial management services to private businesses and their owners. Prior to this, Stan spent nearly 30 years with RSM, the 5th largest public accounting and consulting firm in the U.S., primarily providing corporate finance, strategic planning and merger and acquisition services to small and mid-market companies.
Stan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also a graduate of the RSM Business Advisor Program conducted by the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Danielle is a Senior Venture Analyst for OSF Ventures. In this role, she performs business diligence, builds and analyzes financial models and manages venture reporting. Her responsibilities include tracking the investment history of OSF Ventures, managing the periodic revaluation of portfolio holdings, preparing the Quarterly Portfolio Report and maintaining other internal reporting. Danielle enjoys digging into company financials to understand fiscal drivers of business success.
Danielle has strong technical, leadership and project management skills. Prior to serving at OSF, Danielle was the Director of Finance for a manufacturing firm where she supported the company through an acquisition, and was the Business Operations Manager for an engineering firm where she directed all administrative functions including global operations in Canada and the formation of an office in India.
She holds a joint Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa. Danielle is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Building Positive Relationships course and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) course, Foundations of Leadership, along with a variety of other leadership programs.
Samuel is a Venture Analyst for OSF Ventures. In this role, he performs business diligence, builds and analyzes financial models and supports venture reporting.
His responsibilities include preparing and presenting new venture opportunities to the venture vetting team, tracking the investment history of OSF Ventures, supporting the periodic revaluation of portfolio holdings and preparing month and quarter end reporting.
Samuel has strong financial, operational and leadership capabilities. Prior to serving at OSF HealthCare, Samuel was the Vice President of Operations at a nonprofit focused on physical and behavioral pediatric therapy.
Samuel has also served in financial executive roles for startup companies in the medical and insurance industries. Samuel received his MBA from the University of Louisiana Shreveport in 2018 and also holds joint Bachelors of Science degrees from Olivet Nazarene University in Business Management and Business Finance.
As the project assistant, Layzia supports the OSF Ventures team with a variety of administrative duties, including scheduling and correspondence.
Layzia has a strong ability to anticipate needs, increase efficiency and foster professional relationships within organizations. She has extensive experience with administrative tasks and is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients and team members.
Before joining OSF Ventures, she led a team in OSF HealthCare Human Resources that managed and facilitated onboarding and training, assisted with project implementation and anticipated current and future trends. Layzia has a Bachelor of Arts degree focused in Organizational Leadership.
